5 Star British Traders and Entrepreneurs.
Unsolicited testimonials from Judy Hortin, who has lived and worked in SW London for over 30 years
Bourgeois-Boheme-Boutique. One of the best, if not the best shopping web sites, that I have ever seen. The founders (Van and Alicia) are vegans, who are dedicated to the cause of preventing the slaughter of animals in the name of fashion. Their fashions can be seen in their Richmond Upon Thames shop or on their web site. Bourgeois-Boheme, which proclaims the principles of “Fashion with Compassion.” All clothes and fashion accessories site contain no animal products. Is their diet harmful to the human body? Some say so. Van and Alicia are triathlon athletes. Need I say any more? Alicia’s profession is podiatry and I was one of her patients until I reached an age to get free podiatry on the NHS. I have seen a lot of their fashion products and I can assure my readers that the pictures reflect the quality of the goods. One of their gift vouchers would make an excellent Christmas present. Alicia has just become a Mum and I hope she has a bike to suit young mums and offspring. If you have any old bikes to sell, please let me know Alicia. See Bourgeois-Boheme and be sure to send friends, who believe in fashion with compassion a bb gift voucher for Christmas.
Putney Cycles. The success of the British team in the 2008 Olympics created a market. Where can a parent relation or athletic coach search for bargain professional cycles, complete with details of previous owners? A shop and workshop run by a team of dedicated professional athletes would be a very good start. I was lucky enough to get my son’s consent to get rid of his carbon framed Colindale Synapse and keep the money. I had been asking him sell it for months and he had taken no notice. How long did it take me to sell it? I made one call to Putney Cycles. They checked their database to make sure that it had not been stolen and told me, that they should find a buyer pretty quickly. I took it into the shop at 11am and had the cash for it by 4pm the same day. I dread telling my son how much I got for his “unwanted junk.” The shop is a must for all cyclists. I had given up hope of finding somebody who would maintain my treasured Dawes model with complex Sturmey-Archer gears. Guess who repairs them? The answer is Putney Cycles. What do these professional cyclists buy. Do any of the staff or customers of Putney Cycles use Milliput to fix anything in that shop. Milliput fixes almost anything. There are over 10,100 products in the Milliput range. If you buy it, please consider buying your stock from one of my affiliate links. Milliput.----- Geological Milliput Applications. Do you ever use roller skates to exercise your dog? If so write an e-book on the subject of dog exercise. Are they best exercised by horse and rider, bike and rider or roller skaters? Have fun and think how to generate some extra cash with some entrepreneurs at PutneyCycles.
Roehampton Veterinary Clinic. Who would have expected the winner of the coveted Animal Health Trust award for Vet of the Year in April 2008 to be consulting from a converted public convenience. Richard Bleckman won this award for outstanding service to his clients and their pets, so a premises, which reminds some pet owners of a gent’s urinal, should not deter anybody from investigating the credentials of the present owner. It is impossible to précis Richard's career in surgery and alternative medicine but here are a few of his specialist fields. Soft tissue, spinal and orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, behavioural and psychosomatic medicine, oriental herbal medicine and Chinese herbal medicine. Richard has something else. He has “a gift for healing “ His treatment of a beloved cats which had to be euthanased recently and his tremendous sensitivity with the pet owner really touched my heartstrings. His dedication to his profession is transparant. Richard Bleckman Roehampton Veterinary Clinic
Buon Gusto Sandwich and Coffee Shop. Where can a visitor to Kingston Upon Thames find a reasonably priced retreat to sit down for a snack or a lunch and know, that he or she can be assured of impeccable hygiene standards and a friendly service. The local papers have nominated several in the Borough but the awards go to Buon Gusto. You can see the best hygiene and service certificates, that grace their walls for yourselves. There is a big surprise for those of you, who sit outside the shop. It is the meeting place for “The Kingston Congregation of Smokers.” How does this group avoid confrontation with the law or security guards in the arcade? There are always loopholes in all laws and many smokers are there to test the merits of electronic cigarettes. Watch the video. You can discuss this and other interesting topics with David and Miranda Easton, in the centre of Kingston. Are they medically approved. I don’t know but you can chat about it with the Kingston Congregation of Smokers. Meet us all at 4 Adams Walk Kingston. (Next to Argos,)
Adrian Hall Garden Centre. East Sheen. I have been unable to walk past “Sheen Garden Centre” ever since it was bought by Adrian Hall. The once mediocre establishment, which I remembered from years ago quite literally burgeoned into bloom in the hands of different owners. The present team of dedicated horticulturists work tirelessly, to look after the stock and answer customer’s questions. I asked for some advice on the selection of a rose that might thrive on feline blood and bone, as I planned to bury a much loved cat in the communal gardens, where I live. I was told that they stocked several varieties which would benefit from dead cat fertilizer. They thought the best would be a pink “remember me” or one of three other varieties. I chose and bought the rose but, if Richard can work miracles, she may live a little longer and I may need another rose. My dream garden contains a succession of perfumed rose or other plants for every month of the year. Can it be done? I will ask an American Internet friend for gardening advice on this matter but I will also tell her that she can contact professional gardeners in UK as my favourite garden centre has an e-mail address and web site.” For a personal service ”par excellence” pay a visit to Sheen Garden Centre. Judy Woodson has not had much luck with her attempt to grow money trees but what she has done, yields a few $US for her. Judy’s Income Garden.
SticksandStones East Sheen. A shop with should be part museum. The company supplies natural stone and wood floors to architects, construction companies, property developers and members of the general public, who can afford those type of products. I was in luck, when I walked in to buy a new floor for my kitchen. Zurich Insurance were going to pay the bill, so I bought beautiful Italian porcelain tiles at a whapping trade discount. There was something missing in that shop and it has taken me over a month to identify that something. Can plants speak? HRH Prince Charles has views on that matter. Can stone and crystal speak to certain people? Michelangelo claimed, that marble spoke to him and he described life in parts of the the world, where these products are mined and quarried by families who had similar feelings.
What does the owner Imad have say about the idea? He says, that his father is the intellectual in his family and that he can talk about books and museums with more authority than Imad or I can. Could Mr Ferzoli Senior comment on this. Do local resident’s agree that tree and natural stone lovers, should meet at Sticks and Stones for a chat and coffee to discus the decor for the shop? Would residents like to see botanical prints on the shelves. Would they like to smell wood impregnated with cedar wood or sandalwood oils and books like “The Perfumed Garden” on the shelves. Anybody can see see the trees, from which these wood floors are derived, in their natural habitat at Kew Gardens. Kew is a 3 mile walk, an easy journey by bike or train but difficult by car or bus. Dog owners could take the dogs for a run from Sheen to Kew but a pair of roller skates, could help an intrepid traveler keep up with the dog pack leader. Visit the wood museum in Kew Gardens. What does Mr Ferizoli have to say about porcelain? I know that many of the best porcelain pieces from the Royal Doulton factory were pretty rose bud lavatories for Victorian ladies. You can see the original rose bud loos in the Steam Museum at Kew. I believe stone can communicate certain signals but what. I would like to talk to a stone mason or read the novel about Michelangelo “The Agony and the Ecstasy.” before I comment on that subject. (I am no intellectual.) Can anybody else see Sticks and Stones evolving into a museum like premises for EastSheeners. Sticks & Stones.
SuperiorWebHosting from a Foreigner. John Partington could be described as my best Internet friend, one who resides in that foreign country, that starts 100 miles North of Watford. “We Southerners” know something about, the North of England. It is the part of England, where they have tea at 6pm and call it High Tea. They eat dinner at lunch time. Have you ever been taken out to High Tea in the North of England. Be a very good customer and spend some money on John’s services and you might get an invitation. John speaks with that very attractive, lilting “aufwederzein pet” accent, so don’t be surprised, if he speaks to you and calls you “pet.” Living creatures including humans, dogs, cats, horses and other tame animals are all called “pet” by people in his part of Cheshire. John's, servers operate from London, so he must think like a Southerner at times. John is a technical “whiz kid” despite being a grandparent. If you want web hosting or technical service go to my Global opportunities page or directly to John’s M2y.info Web Site.
What can John do for the foreign business people, he knows in South London?
He can offer some of the cheapest and best web hosting in UK. He can offer you a free ad on his FreeAdd website. You the South London traders have to sell your services.
